Are you aware, dear Sir, that at the Deoband event, there were other unnoticed resolutions passed besides the anti-Vande Mataram and anti-terrorism one?
A resolution was passed condemning the women's reservation bill as politics
is not the proper place for women. A resolution was passed asking Muslim
youth to avoid watching TV and movies. Inviting Baba Ramdev does not mean
they've becoming modern or liberal. Finally, if Baba Ramdev could begin his talk
with the traditional Islamic invocation to Allah, why can't Muslims reciprocate a bit?

Yes, I am aware of all this. And so is everybody else who watched television. But thanks for telling us anyway. The Deobandis have views that I find deeply offensive. But then, have you asked the Bajrang Dal what its women and gays are recently. I am against all kinds of religious extremism. But why have double standards for Hindus and Muslims?
